Vincent Worthington

If when you give the best of your service,
Telling the world that the Savior is come;
Be not dismayed when men don't believe you;
He understands; and say, "Well done."
Oh when I come to the end of my journey,
Weary of life and the battle is won;
Carrying the staff and the cross of redemption,
He'll understand and say, "Well done."

Mr. Vincent Worthington, 85, of Crestview, Florida, formerly of Kenton, Ohio, departed this life on December 17, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Harriet Watts Jackson Worthington.

Mr. Worthington served his country in the United States Navy.

He is survived by wife, Darnella Worthington and a daughter, Billie Jean Lewis of Crestview, FL.

Although we are saddened by his passing, we rejoice in knowing that he is in a land "where he'll never grow old." Farewell, Vincent, You were tired and needed your rest. You were called forth by God, and your soul was truly blessed. We will not weep and mourn because we don't see you on this side anymore. We know that you'll be waiting to meet us on the other shore.

Memorialization was by cremation.
