David Eugene Sheffield

Mr. David Eugene Sheffield was born August 20, 1948, to the late Rosby Sr., and Juanita Yvonne Sheffield in DeFuniak Springs, Florida.

David was educated in the public schools of Walton County, Florida. David graduated from Tivoli High School in 1966. After graduation, he joined the United States Army. David was a Vietnam Veteran.

David became a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He later became a member of the Union Springs Missionary Baptist Church in 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rosby Sr, and Juanita Yvonne Sheffield and two brothers: Rosby Sheffield, Jr., and Jerry Lynn Sheffield.

David leaves to mourn, his loving wife, Cassandra; five sons: Matthias D. Byrd (Felicia D.), Keishaun, Richard, Breshea and Cordell Dawson; three daughters: Keesha Springer (Russell), Keisha and Dearde Dawson; several sisters and brothers; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A special cousin-like-a-mother, Doris Johnson.
