Mrs. Anna Maria (Holston) Turner was born on Wednesday, October 1, 1969 in Crestview, Florida to Raymond and Leona Livingston Turner.
Anna worked many years with the State of Florida as a Correctional Officer at Okaloosa CI in Crestview. Anna’s main job or love was to her family and friends. She was always there to do paperwork or run errands and offering up a good meal to all. She loved all the kids in the neighborhood and made sure every child had something even if it was just a pair of socks at Christmas. Anna also loved fishing and crocheting. Let’s not forget the snowballs.
She was a member of Church of God by Faith under the tutelage of Elder Theodore Powell and the Reverend Teddy Chamberlin.
Anna’s older brother, Leon “Pee Wee”, preceded her in death as well has her mother.
She is survived by her husband, Willie Holston of Crestview, Florida; her father, Raymond Turner; her children: Felicia Wharton of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and Cedrick Turner of Crestview, Florida; her grandchildren: Ayden Wharton and Scarlet McCafferty; her siblings: Michael Robinson (Michelle) of Crestview, Florida, Terry Robinson of Augusta, Georgia, Jonathan James of North Carolina and Dion Hall (Tammy) of New Jersey; a sister and friend, Sherry Wilks; special friend (sister) Terri McQueen of Crestview, Florida; great group of aunts, uncles, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Anna was received into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
This is not a goodbye for us, only ‘til we meet again in Heaven.
