Arlecia Pauline Todd

Arlecia Pauline Rogers, daughter of the late Daisy Pettaway and Clarence Rogers, was born in Mobile, Alabama on December 25, 1929.

Arlecia departed this life on October 9, 2015.

Arlecia accepted Christ at an early age and served as Secretary of her Church School being, Delaware Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama.Arlecia attended school in Mobile, Alabama and graduated from Dunbar High School on May 30, 1947.Arlecia relocated from Mobile, Alabama to Brooklyn, New York. It was there she met and married Stanley Patrick Todd on December 23, 1949. From this union was born three children: Stanley Jr., Stephanie and Julius.

Arlecia was employed through the Brooklyn Public Library System for many years. She retired as Supervisor/Manager of the Brooklyn Business Library in May of 1991.

Arlecia and husband Stanley, relocated to Florida in December 1994 and joined the Darlington United Methodist Church. They were beloved and respected members of their community. Stanley preceded her in death on January 12, 1999.

To cherish her memory, Arlecia leaves her three children: Stanley Jr., Stephanie and Julius; one grandson: Brian; one son-in-law: James Chambers; two sisters: Dorothy and Easter; two brothers: Phil and John; and a host of other relatives and a great many friends.
