Dora Gipson Campbell of DeFuniak Springs, died Saturday morning December 28, 1974 in the Washington County Hospital in Chipley, Florida.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Walton County, a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church and had taught for 30 years. A member of city Wide Missionary Society, a member of the Community Usher Board, a member of the Seven Shape Notes Florida and Alabama Singing Convention, a member of the Valley Cemetery Committee, a loyal Christian, a true neighbor and friend.
Survivors include her widower, Mr. Arthur Campbell of DeFuniak Springs; one sister: Mrs. Agatha Neal; one daughter-in-law: Mrs. Ilease Campbell; one granddaughter, Carolyn Campbell; four sisters-in-law; a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friensd.
Funeral services were held Thursday, January 2, 1975 at 2 PM at Bethel Presbyterian church with the Reverend William Collier officiating, assisted by Reverend Sam Cherry and burial follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
