Terence Dewayne Hogans, age 41, of Fairburn, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014, at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
He was born in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, to Belinda Brown Hogans and William Lee Hogans, Sr. He was a computer programmer at Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia (MEAG) Power. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech and attended Camp Creek Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Nakita Hogans of Fairburn; his parents, Belinda and William Hogans of Morrow; brothers, William Lee Hogans, Jr., of New Brunswick, NJ, and Brian Marcus Hogans of Stockbridge; and paternal grandmother, Ruth Goode Hogans of DeFuniak Springs, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Camp Creek Church of Christ Robotics Team, in memory of Dewayne Hogans.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Camp Creek Church of Christ at 1:00 p.m. He will lie in state from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Euchee Valley Cemetery in DeFuniak Springs, FL.
