Betty R. Reynolds

Betty R. Reynolds was born February 9, 1929 in Gholson, Mississippi. She was the child of Oscar and Sadie Cotton.

Betty grew up in Gholson, Mississippi, but later moved to Crestview, Florida, where she met the love of her life, Otto, and was in a blissful Matrimony for over 50 years.

Betty loved to cook, tend to her garden, and children were her ultimate joy.

Betty professed her love for Christ while becoming a member of Evelenar Missionary Baptist Church and served on the Usher Board and any other capacities she was needed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Michael Reynolds; brothers: Oscar Cotton, Gilbert Cotton and Lavell Cotton; sisters: Vera Mae Cotton, Anna Bell Graves, Arereathy Hudson and Willie Mae McDaniel.

She is survived by her brothers, Roy and wife Josefina Cotton of Anderson, Indiana and Walter and wife Lisa Cotton of Anderson, Indiana; four grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, other relatives and friends.
