A Time to Be Born: DeFuniak Springs, FL, June 18, 1937, to Ruby Miller Sheffield (Pete) and Johnnie Wesley Barnes (Mabel), all of whom preceded her in death.
A Time to Labor: Walton County School District, Administrative Secretary for 35 years, retiring in 2001.
A Time to Plant: She united with Union Springs Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully until her health failed. She was a Deaconess for 45 years, serving on the Mother Board and as Financial Secretary. She also served as Musician and Minister of Music for over 60 years. During that time span and after the passing of the Late Frederick Haynes, she served as Musical Director for the District Association and P&P Gospel Singers.
A Time to Give: She was a member of the Tivoli Historical Society, NAACP, SCLC and The “CLICK” (Christians Lovingly Involved in Community Kindness).
A Time to Love: She was united in Holy Matrimony to Raymond Hosea Daniels (Deceased 2005) on July 24, 1954.
